Tahun Ini: Hari Malaysia Yang Bermakna Kepada Rakyat Sabah

1. Pada malam Hari Malaysia di Padang Bandaran Kota Kinabalu, 16 September lalu, sesiapa yang hadir atau menonton TV, pasti melihat betapa gembiranya Ketua Menteri Sabah- Datuk Musa Aman sepanjang malam itu, baik semasa beliau berucap sebelum ucapan Perdana Menteri.

2. Musa dengan senyuman yang amat bermakna, tanda kegembiraan mewakili rakyat Sabah yang beliau pimpinan sejak tahun 2003.

3. Suara-suara sumbang sebelum ini, terutama jawatan-jawatan yang dibiayai persekutuan, khususnya guru-guru,dalam tempoh 3 tahun, di semua peringkat dijadikan 90 peratus anak watan Sabah. Selepas 52 tahun merdeka, keadaan ini belum pernah berlaku.

5. Satu lagi yang mengembirakan Musa kelulusan kerajaan persekutuan bagi membina Trans-Borneo di kawasan Sabah, akan dilaksanakan sepenuhnya oleh kontraktor Sabah. Tindakan seumpama ini jarang berlaku bagi projek yang dibiayai sepenuhnya oleh kerajaan Persekutuan.

6. Apa yang dilihat semua keadaan ini berlaku, kerana hubungan antara pemimpin negeri dan pusat amat akrab, dan mempunyai matalamat yang sama, iaitu memberi kepercayaan kepada rakyat negeri untuk melaksanakan projek yang dilaksanakan di dalam negeri. Tujuan keputusan ini, agar anak watan negeri menimba pengelaman untuk berdepan dengan persaingan yang amat mencabar di masa depan.

7. Melihat kepada keputusan-keputusan kerajaan pusat terhadap Sabah, OKB tidak nampak lagi, rungutan apa yang perlu ditimbulkan oleh pihak-pihak tertentu, khusus Dr Jeffrey atau SSKM.

8. Sebenarnya rungutan Jeffrey dan SSKM sebenarnya sudah lama dalam agenda Musa melalui Hala Tuju Pembangunan Sabah yang beliau lancarkan sebaik sahaja dilantik Ketua Menteri.

9. Sebagai rakyat Sabah, OKB bukan sahaja berpuas hati akan tetapi turut gembira. 

10. Seharusnya semua rakyat turut gembira dan berdoa agar Ketua Menteri bersama-sama para pemimpin yang dipimpin beliau senantiasa sihat untuk terus membela rakyat.

Sentuhan Peribadi Pemimpin- Penentu Kemenangan PRU-14

1. Para pemimpin Bn kena mengambil iktibar keputusan pilihanraya Singapura semalam. Keputusan pilihanraya itu, menggambarkan bagaimana sentuhan peribadi pemimpin telah berpihak kepada parti kerajaan, apabila hampir 70 peratus undi berpihak kepada parti pemerintah People Action Party (PAP) berbanding undi yang diperolehi pada PRU negara itu pada tahun 2011 (60 peratus).

2. Perdana Menteri Singapura, Lee Hsien Loong mengambil pendekatan yang lebih mesra rakyat selepas PRU tahun 2011, berbanding pendekatan sebelumnya yang bersifat media atau penerangan bertulis melalui organ pemerintah.

3. Selama lebih 4 tahun, pendekatan peribadi yang dilakukan semua lapisan pemimpin Singapura, khususnya Perdana Menteri negara itu, akhirnya berbaloi, bukan sahaja PAP mendapat undi popular yang meningkat malah menambah kerusi apabila mendapat 83 kerusi Parlimen daripada 89, sebelumnya PAP hanya mempunyai 80 daripada 87.

4. Kempen media sosial oleh Workers Party, sehingga menyebabkan parti itu popular di media sosial menjelang PRU negara itu, berbanding PAP, tidak diterjemahkan melalui pengundian, apabila kerusi pembangkang bukan sahaja gagal dipertahankan, malah berkurang.

5. Di Malaysia kini, nampaknya jika dilihat daripada media sosial, maka kenampakan bahawa kerajaan yang memerintah sudah kalah. Namun berasaskan kepada keputusan pilihanraya Singapura yang diketahui keputusannya awal pagi tadi, nampaknya kepopularan di media sosial tidak menggambarkan pendirian majoriti senyap.

6. Melihat kepada keputusan pilihanraya Singapura tersebut, benarlah kenyataan Ketua Menteri Sabah, bahawa untuk memastikan Bn menang dalam pilihanraya akan datang, semua lapisan pemimpin Bn kena meningkatkan sentuhan peribadi terhadap rakyat. Sentuhan peribadi itu diterjemahkan melalui aktiviti turun padang yang kerap, tanpa mengira waktu dan keadaan.

7.Malah menurut Musa, adalah lebih mudah memperjelaskan sebarang isu yang timbul di negara ini melalui sentuhan peribadi berbanding media bertulis, kerana penjelasan melalui sentuhan peribadi lebih berbekas dan menyentuh di sudut hati rakyat.

8.Atas sebab itu, bermula daripada sekarang, semua pemimpin perlu turun padang dan senantiasa dekat dan akrab dengan pengundi, kerana hanya melalui tindakan itu, keyakinan dan kepercayaan akan terjalin.
